Important as of August 2025:

A contract and deposit are required for reservation- in our new contract, the host must sign off on understanding

and implementing our detailed rules and regulations required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our animals.

Required Animal Welfare Rules and Regulations for our Bookings:

We are not a corporation. We are a small business of family, close friends, and our personal animals/pets. The safety, health, and wellbeing of our staff, animals, and guests are priority.

For any events with over 30 total guests (including adults), a second attendant is required for an additional $150 for 1 hour events, plus $25 for each additional event hour.

A Maximum of 4-6 guests (staff discretion) can come into the Petting Zoo pen at one time.

Our Staff Only are permitted to open/close the Petting Zoo gate or enter any designated Pony areas.

For large events, we will do 5 minute rotations of 4-6 people in/out of the Petting Zoo pen (maximum of 60 guests/pen/hour) with at least one 10 minute break for staff and animals at any event over 2 hours.

We do not book any of our animals for more than 4 event hours in one day.

Staff assistance is required for picking up animals. Guests may gently pet, brush, and feed our

animals without staff assistance while in the Petting Zoo pen.

Toddler aged, special needs, or potentially unruly children must come into the Petting Zoo with an adult.

To book an event in Vermont, Rhode Island, or Connecticut, there is a 3 hour event minimum/4 hour max

Hamsters are limited and not always available- please request that we include a hamster in your petting zoo if it's important to you or your guests. (not available for large events)

WEATHER 1- If the expected high temperature will be over 85 degrees, or if there will be a Heat Advisory in effect, we must reschedule/cancel to prioritize our animal welfare. Additional goats will be supplemented in place of lambs if over 80 degrees.

WEATHER 2- If there is an excess of snow, ice, or thunderstorms predicted, we must reschedule/cancel.

WEATHER 3- If rain is anticipated and expected to be moderate-heavy, we must reschedule/cancel

Pony Rides. In this case, we can still do Petting Zoos if Indoor accommodations are available

(we provide a canopy in the event of light rain showers only).

Our pricing (plus travel), packages and the date ranges that they are available are firm.

Please let us know if we will/might be setting up indoors so that we may plan accordingly.

If any guest is particularly unruly or disrespectful waiting in our Petting Zoo or Pony Ride line, we may deny animal/ride access.

Both of our Pony Ride Handlers are Professional Equestrians who have trained Wild, Untouched Horses, and have taught hundreds of children (and adults) how to ride! All of our staff has extensive animal handling and care experience.

Our Pet Therapy options do not include fencing and are only appropriate for hospital or nursing home type settings, or for very small, intimate group gatherings with adult participants.

Sometimes we bring baby animals, sometimes adults, sometimes a mix- we keep breeding to a minimum to help ensure that our animals who no longer enjoy their job with us go to loving homes.
